MyGrid, Plug & Play Home Battery
MyGrid, the brand behind the award winning plug & play home battery, joined forces with OpenRemote to develop a smart energy management system. The two companies were initially selected by Alliander – one of the Netherlands’ largest grid operators – to develop a proof of concept in Amsterdam, alleviating grid congestion at the neighbourhood level. The pilot was so succesfull that the companies decided to continue their collaboration. While MyGrid is introducing the grid friendly plug & play battery, OpenRemote focusses on the development of the MyGrid cloud platform as an EMS with smart optimisation routines and a friendly end user app. The open source approach of OpenRemote and the open ecosystem of ModuleOne are truly a match made in… Brussels/Eindhoven.
